Earle, Arkansas (population 3000) was hit Friday afternoon with an EF-3 tornado, destroying a high school, a church, and several homes. CJ's Bus was deployed Saturday, May 3, to Crittenden County, Arkansas, one of eleven counties declared disaster areas by Governor Mike Beebe.
More than 100 children sought haven with CJ's Bus over the three-day stretch while their familes and loved ones began cleaning up after the storm. The bus returned to Evansville Wednesday.

Thanks to Sternberg International, CJ's Bus now has a chase vehicle! During deployments, this is used as a mobile unit while the bus can stay put for the kids. Volunteers can be shuffled in and out of a disaster zone quickly in case of an emergency.
