Beau Dodson: Thank You

Thank you for all of the wonderful work that you are doing.

This is a much needed service after a natural disaster.  We have had plenty of tornadoes down here in West KY and South IL over the last few years.

Thank you for giving back.

It was good to talk to you at the trunk or treat at Bethel Temple Church this past year... mother to mother, I have no idea how difficult that must have been for you; I feel guilty because I was there as a responder trying to help, but I had a son at home the same age... but you are so inspiring, it helps me and I draw strength from it.... I was having a horrible day last week, and I looked over and saw CJ’s Bus in the Walmart, and it made me smile... I don’t know really what else to say.

You make me proud of how you turned your tragedy into such a positive impact for so many needy parents. Not many people would think of how to help other parents who were in your same situation. So many need direction and help when devastation hits, but what to do with their children while they seek help? You are a Godsend to those people! I am sorry for the loss of your son, but what you do in his name will make his life not be in vain. It makes me more aware of parents’ plight everywhere and thankful for my sons’ being alive and in my life. God Bless You.

I am watching you on the Montel Williams show right now. I think you are awesome! I am so sorry about your family lost! On Feburary 5, 2008 we had an f4 tornado come through our small community. My children just came back today from volunteering helping sort items for people in need! I have been to the areas that suffered the most damage; and you just can’t comprehend the devastation that these familys endure. It is awesome to see people like you getting out and making a difference!!!

Bless you and your family for bringing something good out of your loss and heartbreak. You will be called trees of righteousness. ’To appoint unto them that mourn, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.’ Isaiah 61

This is a wonderful idea and one I hope can be started in each state. Disasters happen anytime and anywhere so with C.J.’ bus sent to that area the families with children will know they have a safe haven to go to. Kudo’s to Kathryn Martin for forming this wonderful organization...God Bless you and your volunteers. Maybe someone will come forward here in Florida and start a C.J.’s Bus for Children....

It was my pleasure to be a part of the Cruise In at Jillian’s for CJ’s bus, but it was a great honor to meet his Mom and to then put together a car show that will raise more funbds for the bus in Princeton, IN. Just minutes ago, I talked to Kathryn for awhile on the phone, I can only say it was inspiring. The Tri-State is very fortunate to have this special lady living here, her work and commitment can only be described as wonderful. I pray for her success in her endeavors and thank her for starting a legacy to her son that will help so many (though we all hope it is never needed). May God Bless you and your friends and family Kathryn.

Kat, This project, in memory of a bright eyed, beautiful little boy, is an amazing gift to the hundreds of people that will be affected by disaster each year. I know there is so much hard work involved, work already done and yet so much is still needed, but when the bus is loaded and ready to go help children, you will look up and know all the long hours, painful and sleepless nights will have been worth this investment. Keep up the good work. And if anyone out there wants to get involved in a life changing ministry...this is IT!
